Burdur Belediyesi (Burdur Municipality) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Organizations related to the European Mobility Week will be broadcast on the giant screen used to inform the public about the organizations to be held in the city center throughout the week, and these events will be announced twice a day by the municipality throughout the week.
16 September
Gyms and dance centers located in the city center will present their performances in the large area in the city square and thus invite the public to activity.
17 September
Children of all ages in our city will walk to the city center with colorful helium-filled balloons in their hands for approximately 500 meters, carrying banners inviting them to mobility and the mobility week poster, and they will release these balloons into the air in the city center. Then, a fancy women's bicycle tour will be organized around the city center with the participation of the public.

Bicycle and electric bicycle sellers will promote their products during the week at the indoor market in the city center and encourage the public to use bicycles.

Free indoor parking to encourage people to mobility in the city center.

In order to encourage municipal employees to be active, water and breakfast will be offered to employees who walk or bike to work.

Burdur Belediyesi (Burdur Municipality) carries out a Car-Free Day 2023 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Gazi Street, the main street of the city will be closed to traffic.
