On July 1, 2022, the village of Mārupe was granted the status of the city of Mārupe, therefore the issues of mobility in Mārupe county remain more and more relevant. This year, during the European Mobility Week, the municipality of Mārupe region invites everyone,
especially the residents of Mārupe region, entrepreneurs, collectives, students, to go on their daily activities by bicycle or on foot and to participate in the raffle of prizes organized by entrepreneurs.
To participate in the activity and raffle, participants must:
- register for the free app "STRAVA" and join the club "Mobility week in Mārupe city, Mārupe district" created by the municipality of Mārupe;
- from September 16 to 22, you must record your mobility routes and share your performance in the "STRAVA" app.,
- must cycle at least 30 km or walk 15 km to qualify for the draw.

The municipality of Mārupe region not only during the European Mobility Week, but also on a daily basis invites you to go to work, school and other daily activities by bicycle or on foot, thus not only saving resources, but also improving your physical health.
