Tripolis organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Each day of the European Mobility Week will include actions by the Municipality to improve infrastructure, festive events, educational activities, and demonstrative actions which will be published on social media, depending on the nature of the event.
Therefore, European Mobility Week 2023 will be a week of "mixed" events, where all stakeholders (organizers, participants, service providers, and local community) will inform and be informed about sustainable mobility, its services, and actions Municipality of Tripoli regarding sustainable mobility, to raise the awareness of organizations and citizens on mobility issues, etc.
Organization of a week of activities, from Saturday 16 to Friday 22 September 2023, taking into account the annual theme "Energy Saving".
16 September
"Urban Cycling Action in the Center of Tripoli"
An exciting cycling action right in the heart of Tripoli as part of the European Mobility Week. The Municipality of Tripoli, in collaboration with E.O.S. (Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Tripoli) and cycling groups, invites everyone to take part in a cycling tour of the city. Whether you own a mountain bike or any other type, this event is for you!

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, some roads in the area will be temporarily closed.




Parallel activity - Guided tour of the Forestry History Museum of Mainalos in Chrysovitsi, where the whole range of activities related to the collection, processing, and exploitation of timber during the previous decades is presented

On a car-free day, we encourage you to avoid using the car and instead walk, cycle, or use your electric transport (bike or scooter). Throughout the day, various actions will take place in the central parts of the city.
