Bike Disco:
This free 5km family cycling event is open to all ages, abilities & bike types! The route will be completely car-free so is a great opportunity for anyone with a bike to take part. Cyclists are encouraged to light up and decorate their bikes, helmets and outfits to make the event as colourful as possible! ReCreate will be hosting a bike decoration stall from 7pm with freebike decorations packs including festival flags and string lights available on the night for the first 150 participants. The cycle starts at 8pm and leaves from the Phoenix Roundabout at Chesterfield Avenue. More info and registration at

Free NOW dublinbikes one day pass:
To celebrate Car Free Day, Dublin City Council and NOW dublinbikes are offering free one day tickets to encourage people to try travelling by bike instead of by car. More information and registration will be available on dublinbikes.ie the day before.
Make Way Day:
Make Way Day takes place on 22nd September. Make Way Day is a national awareness campaign which aims to educate and inform the public of the obstacles which have been inadvertently placed in the way of people with disabilities. Find out how to support and get involved with the campaign at

On Sunday 24th September we're holding a cargo bike try out day with the Bike Hub in Eamonn Ceannt Park, Crumlin, Dublin 12. A range of suppliers will be there on the day to give participants a chance to try out different types of cargo bikes. A cargo bike parade around the park takes place at 3pm. More info at
