Zagrebačka Žbica is a traditional bike ride through the streets of Zagreb with the aim of promoting tolerance and traffic culture among all traffic participants. Citizens will gather at Zrinjevac by the pavilion starting from 4:00 PM. The ride will take place within the regular traffic flow with police escorts on bicycles. The first Zagrebačka Žbica was held on Car-Free Day in 2000, and many children have grown up to be responsible bicycle riders as a result. The ride will begin at 6:00 PM. All participants ride at their own risk. The route covers a distance of 7 km.
Organizer: City Office for Local Self-Government, Traffic, Civil Protection, and Security with the support of the Road Safety Service, MUP-PUZ; the My Bike website; and the Opušteno Bicycle Club.
VIRTUAL WALK "PEŠČA FROM ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE"

A simulation of a walk through the Peščenica area (Volovčica, Donji Svetice, Borongaj, and Ferenščice) using photos and location descriptions that will create the feeling of a real walk through Peščenica for users of the Peščenica Senior Home's II and III service levels. The walk through the Peščenica area's halls and atrium, where specific locations and routes within our neighborhood (Kulturni centar KNAP, Knjižnica S.S. Kranjčević, NK HAŠK 1903, Znanstveno-učilišni kampus Borongaj, Volovčica market, Šetalište Ranka Marinkovića, Šetalište Vesne Parun, and the walkway along the Bliznec stream) will be defined, will bring certain cultural and social places of Peščenica closer to those users who are limited in their mobility due to functional dependencies. The walk will be accompanied by medical-recreational exercises led by physiotherapy technicians with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of quality physical activity.

Meeting point at the intersection of Bliznec Street and Markuševačka Street, and from there, the groups will walk (slow walking, fast walking, Nordic walking) or run according to the preferences of the registered participants (when signing up for the event, participants must choose their preference). After reaching the destination, there will be a 30-minute education session on movement and exercise for all present, especially for people with mobility limitations. After the exercise and education, there will be a social gathering.

EXERCISE FOR HEALTH - NORDIC SKIING DEMONSTRATION

The meeting point is at European Square. In collaboration with athletes from the Monoski Club and SKOI Sljeme, we will present and demonstrate Nordic skiing on roller skis specially designed for the summer part of Nordic skiing training. All interested participants will have the opportunity to try and participate in this sport. After the presentation and demonstration, there will be a brief training session and general education on physical exercise. All interested individuals will have the opportunity to ask questions about Nordic skiing and winter sports. After the presentation and exercise, there will be a social gathering.

This workshop will teach upper-grade elementary school students how to repair a punctured bicycle tire. The goal is to empower children with new skills and encourage them to use bicycles as a means of transportation in their daily lives. You surely want to learn how to stay active in your own home, right from your chair. Here's your chance! THERAPEX - recreational gymnastics for seniors (but not only for them!) on chairs and in the fresh air, in the park in front of MO Klaka. What kind of program awaits you? Therapeutic exercises for the spine and other major and minor joints, stretching, breathing exercises, and relaxation. These exercises have low intensity and complexity, designed to strengthen the muscles of the trunk, joints, and ligaments, and they are excellent for preventing osteoporosis and maintaining spinal flexibility. We will exercise for about half an hour under the guidance of Đurđa Podvorac, a kinesiology professor and longtime promoter of healthy exercise for all generations, especially seniors.

The Neighborhood Council, with the support of the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, is conducting a program of lectures, workshops, and guided tours entitled "Urban and Green Rhythm" as part of the European Mobility Week within the TijeloRIJEČI: Trnsko project. The program focuses on the experience of green life in the Trnsko neighborhood, which represents a high quality of life in the Novi Zagreb district. The lecture by Kristina Perkov and Ana Sopina, "Context-Context-Context: Development and Identity of the Urban Landscape Architecture of New Zagreb," on September 22 at 7:00 PM at the Trnsko Neighborhood Council, as well as the guided tour at the Museum of Contemporary Art on September 24 at 11:00 AM, will contribute to an understanding of the urban structure of this neighborhood and its impact on the social aspect. Weekend workshops on September 23 and 24, as well as on September 30 and October 1, will be held in the form of neighborhood walks led by artist Josipa Bubaš and writer Neva Lukić, introducing participants to an experimental interpretation of the neighborhood's rhythm: traffic, green oases, and more. The results of the workshops will involve participants in the interplay of movement, word, and the neighborhood experience from the participants' perspective.
