The BIKE LONG RIDE MARCHE - EUROPE starts on September 10th and ends on September 25th.
Celebrity of the event, present on the day of departure, is GIOIA BARTALI, nephew of the Italian champion GINO BARTALI.
It is a traveling fair that will have 14 stages, willing to represent the Municipality of CIVITANOVA MARCHE and the regional territory of Marche during all conferences and institutional meetings that will develop along the 14 stages. The first six meetings are held in Italy, and then it continues through four European Countries to Brussels for an official meeting.
The objective is to promote cycling mobility, the green lifestyle and the bicycle economy, while enhancing local products, tourist consortia, accommodation facilities, culinary businesses, and production districts.
At the end of the route the cyclists will reach Brussels, where they will present a complete document on sustainable mobility, cycling and cycle tourism in Italy to the European Commission.
