Città metropolitana di Torino organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Support activities for corporate and school mobility managers as Città metropolitana Area Mobility Manager, highlighting in the meetings the methods for calculating energy and CO2 savings linked to the activities;;
16 September
Launch of the Jojob Real Time Car-pooling Community for all employees of the Metropolitan City Authority; the app allows you to organize car-pooling trips for all residents of the provincial territory, also displaying the stops made by the metropolitan city; based on the calculation methodology applied in the PASCAL project, car-pooling is one of the most effective actions in terms of energy saving.

Launch of Giretto d'Italia and of the Jojob Real Time Car-pooling Community for all employees of the Metropolitan City Authority
18 September
Start of construction works on the Turin-Venaria, Turin-Nichelino and Turin-Leinì metropolitan cycle routes (Mappano flyover); these projects are included in the metropolitan Biciplan, which will calculate the effects of cycle paths in terms of improving health, the environment and safety.
19 September
Metropolitan Vice-Mayor Jacopo Suppo will open the round table dedicated to the exchange of good practices between Italian and European realities by illustrating the SUMP of the metropolitan city (highlighting the indicators dedicated to energy consumption) and the role of the CMTo as Area Mobility Manager.

the Metropolitan City of Turin participates with its employees in the Giretto d'Italia. The initiative, now in its thirteenth edition, has the aim of promoting home-work and home-school travel by bicycle and is organized by Euromobility in collaboration with Legambiente; - in the same day the Transport Councilor presents in Strasbourg the preliminary study of the platform for the identification of areas for the production of green hydrogen and for use in transport (H2MA Alpine Space project)
21 September
in the morning, the metropolitan city of Turin participates in the event "Towards a new sustainable mobility" organized by Confindustria Novara-Vercelli-Valsesia, the Marazzato group and the Comoli-Ferrari group, bringing their experience on mobility management and in particular on its pioneering projects to promote car-pooling;
- afternoon, : the metropolitan city of Turin participates in the "Mobility Manager Day" event for its experience as the first metropolitan city in Italy to have assumed the role of Area Mobility manager;
22 September
As part of the PASCAL project - Participatory School-Home-Work Paths financed by MASE, the Metropolitan City of Turin, in its capacity as leader of 16 Municipalities, launches the creative competition entitled "Mobility Manager for a day”, for primary schools .
