Activities within the week Activities within the week

Galati organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Galati will host a vibrant street festival celebrating sustainable mobility where local businesses, artisans, and cultural organizations can set up booths and stalls. We will arrange for street performances such as music, dance, theater, and even street art and plan family-friendly activities such as face painting, games, sports (archery, tennis, basket competitions) and surprise raffles to make the event inclusive and enjoyable for children. A variety of food and beverage stalls will be offered, including healthy and eco-friendly options, with an emphasis on local and organic products. This will create a lively and engaging atmosphere for pedestrians to explore and enjoy. We will also encourage feedback and collaboration to make European Mobility Week in Galati a memorable and impactful event.

It's Best by Bus: On Friday 22nd of September, we will showcase the benefits of public transportation by providing free rides on all public transportation in Galati. At the same time, we encourage everybody to use alternative means of transport.
Siderurgiștilor Best: In addition, between September 22nd and 24th, there will be a series of events for the community that will take place on Siderurgistilor Boulevard, in the area between Casa Roșie and Inelul de Rocada where traffic will be closed.
