Nusaybin, Mardin organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Walking, cycling and collecting recyclable waste will be encouraged to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality by using environmentally friendly transport methods.
19 September
A march will be held along the bazaar, starting from Cumhuriyet Square, the centre of the district. Municipality personnel, representatives of institutions/organisations, NGOs, students and tradesmen will participate in the event and recyclable wastes will be collected along the determined route and the walk will be carried out. In order to draw attention to the damages of wastes to carbon emissions and air quality and to encourage the reduction of carbon emissions and improvement of air quality by using environmentally friendly transport methods, a march will be organised and wastes will be collected.

Şirin Boulevard Street will be closed to traffic and pedestrians and bicycles will flow on the street by declaring 'Life without Cars Day'. In order to encourage the reduction of carbon emissions and improvement of air quality by using environmentally friendly transport methods, walking and cycling will be organised.

Car-free day Car-free day

Nusaybin, Mardin carries out a Car-Free Day 2023 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
