Detailed description (English): On behalf of Serik Municipality, our delegation took part in the Antalya Erasmus Events held on 16 October 2025 as part of the national Erasmus Days campaign. Serik Municipality used the opportunity to promote the municipality’s international and youth-oriented projects, to strengthen networking with provincial institutions and NGOs, and to raise the profile of Serik in national and international mobility and youth cooperation networks.
Target group(s): The main target groups of our mobility action are:
Young people aged 15–30 living in Serik and surrounding districts, especially those with fewer opportunities or limited international experience.
Youth workers, municipal project coordinators, and local NGO representatives who are active in the fields of non-formal education, sports, culture, and community development.
Students and volunteers interested in European exchange programs, local sustainability initiatives, and intercultural dialogue.
Local community stakeholders and institutions (schools, youth centers, sports clubs) aiming to enhance their European cooperation capacity.
Objectives: The main objectives of Serik Municipality’s mobility action are to:
Promote active youth participation in European mobility and learning programs through Erasmus+.
Develop international cooperation capacity of Serik Municipality and local stakeholders by exchanging good practices and building long-term partnerships.
Encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities by providing international learning experiences to disadvantaged youth.
Support sustainable and healthy lifestyles through sports, outdoor, and cultural mobility activities.
Enhance the visibility of Serik at the European level as an active and innovative local authority contributing to EU values and intercultural understanding.
Partner: Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports (Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü) – co-organizer of Erasmus-related youth activities and local coordination partner.
Antalya Governorate EU and Foreign Relations Office (AB ve Dış İlişkiler Bürosu) – institutional coordination and visibility partner ensuring alignment with regional Erasmus+ strategy.
Local NGOs and youth associations in Serik (e.g., youth councils, sports clubs, volunteer groups) – supporting participant selection and follow-up dissemination.
Potential European partner municipalities and organizations within Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps networks for future mobility cooperation.
