Detailed description (English): Spain’s central region is a vast plateau area characterized by dry weather and a lot of small and medium-sized villages many of which are totally off the main traffic routes of today and forgotten in public transport networks planning.
That reduces opportunities for employment and normally cause only migration to bigger cities. In addition it also makes the daily life of the citizens of those villages hard, as people depend strongly on their own private vehicles because it would be a nightmare or an impossibility to move around otherwise.
Conecta MovEL proposes a green economy non-profit cooperative model for those areas combining PV-charging stations and a fleet of shared e-vehicles (cars, vans, microbuses, other).
As members of Conecta MovEl the citizens of those areas will enjoy a more flexible and more sustainable mobility solution that fits best their needs, giving them the chance of planning and solving in common their mobility problems.
Their needs will be analyzed on-site, locally by the people that actually will use the service, in cooperation with the board of Conecta MovEL and other experts in mobility and renewable energies in order to get the best possible result taking into account both social and economic factors.
Everything in order to get a positive migration balance, a cultural blooming linked to ecotourism and rediscovery of parts of historical Spain and, in turn, to promote employment.
Target group(s): Small-medium sized villages with mobility problems due to isolation from main transport networks.
Objectives: Replacement of ICE-cars (petrol, diesel and hybrid) by e-cars (BEV) in a rate 5 to 1 in regions with lower per capita income (50% 2030)
Green recharging of e-cars using solar cells (50% 2030).
Increase in competitiveness of small and medium-sized villages reducing their dependence on social aids and funds, like ERDF, with bettering of unemployment rates, educational level and social cohesion.
Expected Outcomes: Faster adoption of e-cars (EV) and increase in renewable energies generation in less developed regions (50% EV in 2030, 50% green energy in 2030).
Partner: Electric sun mobility (ESM), a NGO (cooperative non-profit), for installation of charging points for electric vehicles (EV).
The mobility factory (TMF), a NGO (cooperative non-profit) and all the rest of its members, apart from Conecta MovEL, (which are also indeed co-ops) for providing car sharing platform.
