Detailed description (English): The theme of the 922 Green Mobility Publicity Events in 2024 centers on shared public spaces, emphasizing the fundamental right of all individuals to access public spaces, including the elderly, young children, students, and those with disabilities. To that end, urban planning and design prioritize safer streets for all residents and modes of transportation. Street spaces are allocated with a primary focus on pedestrians, cyclists, and public transportation, while on-street parking is dynamically managed to make optimal use of public areas. Traffic policies are formulated under sustainable development principles, fostering community engagement in the development of urban public spaces.
The “2024 Green Mobility and Shared Cycling Conference”, co-hosted by the CAUPD and the UPSC, took place in Kunming on September 21, 2024. At this event, the 2024 Green Mobility City Handbook and the 2024 Annual Report on Shared Bikes and Shared Electric Bikes Riding in Major Chinese Cities were released. A roundtable forum was also convened.
Kunming hosted the “Roaming Kunming, Reclaiming Public Spaces” event on September 22, 2024. Co-organized by the CAUPD and the UPSC under the guidance of the Kunming Municipal Transportation Bureau, the event was jointly undertaken by the Institute ITDP, Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center Co., Ltd., and Kunming Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd. It featured a combination of “Citywalk, Cityride, and Workshops”, gathering over 60 participants .

2024年922绿色出行宣传活动的主题是共享公共空间,强调人人有权享有公共空间,公共空间适合老人、幼儿、学生、残疾人等所有人。为此,规划设计考虑所有居民和交通方式的更安全的街道,道路空间分配时优先考虑步行、自行车和公共交通,动态管理路内停车以便有效利用公共空间,基于可持续发展理念制定道路交通政策,鼓励社区参与开发城市公共空间等。
2024年9月21日,由中国城市规划设计研究院和中国城市规划学会主办的“2024年绿色出行与共享骑行发布会”在昆明市举办。会上发布了《2024年绿色出行城市工具书》和《2024年度中国主要城市共享单车/电单车骑行报告》。同时会议开展了以“超(特)大城市发展共享电单车的挑战、机遇与对策”为主题的圆桌论坛。
2024年9月22日,由昆明市交通运输局指导,中国城市规划设计研究院、中国城市规划学会主办,交通与发展政策研究所(ITDP)、深圳市城市交通规划设计研究中心股份有限公司、昆明市规划设计研究院有限公司承办的“漫游昆明 重拾公共空间”活动在昆明市举行。本次活动由“城市漫步+城市骑行+工作坊”环节组成。活动参与者来自城市管理部门、基层社区、规划设计单位、高等院校等机构,总计60余人。
