Detailed description (English): Colleagues of the European Institute for Innovation and Technology celebrated the launch of the EU inter-agency cycling competition Velomai*, which runs from May 1 to 31.
Additionally, the occasion was an opportunity to:
• Test EIT-branded Hellovelo pedelecs and announce the forthcoming English version of the Hellovelo Pro app!
• Register for Velomai via the app (GooglePlay, Apple Store) as well as discover what prizes are on offer to EIT's top riders
• Listen to colleagues' interests to advance EIT's sustainable commuting agenda.
• Polish off lunch with coffee and biscuits (and a free ride)
*Velomai is a month-long campaign to promote cycling as a mode of transport. During the whole month of May, colleagues across the EU Institutions and EU schools will challenge each other for the highest number of kilometres and/or rides.
