Detailed description (English): This year’s FEVR European Mobility Week program is ‘Safe Shared Public Space for Everyone"
FEVR long-term campaign – Vision Zero in Cities this year is also reflected within European Mobility Week 2024. The activity will take place all over Europe. Shared public space brings many benefits to society. Shared space is where people, transport modes and activities all have their own space. It is a place with more social equity, more road safety, less noise and air pollution. It means also a better quality of life. The initiative consists of an awareness campaign within the member countries of FEVR. It promotes behavioral change in favor of active mobility, public transport, and other clean, intelligent and safe transport solutions that help to reduce the number of crashes and road crash victims and follow Vision Zero. Safety and shared safe spaces are our right.
