Each kid participating will receive refreshments at the finish line and free entrance do Dobrá Hračka.
The bike and participants transport by special old tram will be provided:
Poprad - Starý Smokovec - Tatranská Lomnica - Starý Smokovec - Tatranská Polianka - Starý Smokovec - Poprad.
Children and bicycles travel along the entire route for free.
Adults for a symbolic fare of EUR 2.

Objectives: Build new cycling paths in the region of High Tatras:
We are in favor of the priority construction of routes from the backbone network of bicycle routes of the Prešov self-governing region, which will not only be a continuation of the built cycle path from Tatranská Lomnica to Starý Smokovec and on to Tatranská Polianka, but will also represent an uninterrupted connection to the foothills (Poprad/Svit) in the central part of the Tatras. The given branch will also be part of the planned connection of two national parks, Tatra National Park – Slovak Paradise.
Increase road safety on road II/537:
We ask that the road of freedom becomes safe and creates space for all road users. We ask that it become a path of respect.
We request that the area behind the roadside be marked with a cyclist pictogram, in places where it is possible. In sections where the shoulder is narrow, we ask for signs and a call for mutual respect between vehicles, cyclists and other road users.
We are asking for the speed to be reduced to 7O km/h on selected test sections, along with the installation of radars to measure the average speed from the beginning to the end of the section.
We propose three test sections, two outside the village and one in the village:
In the village of Smokovce (from Horný Smokovec Intersport Gálfy to the gas station in Nový Smokovec), speed 40 km/h
Nový Smokovec gas station to Tatranská Polianka, speed 70 km/h
Tatranská Polianka, end of the town part, to the beginning of the town part of Vyšné Hágy, average speed 70 km/h.
After reconstruction, Cesta Slobody (II/537) shows a high accident rate and encourages faster driving. As of August 2024, according to statistics, the police recorded 30 traffic accidents versus 29 accidents for the entire year 2023 and 26 accidents for the year 2022.
At the same time, hundreds of road and other cyclists use the new high-quality parameters of the road every day. According to the statistics of the city of High Tatras, the trend of road cyclists is increasing, in a 4-hour profile during a seasonal day, up to 90 road cyclists were recorded in one direction.
