Detailed description (English): Wednesday 18 September at 6.00 pm Casa della Pietra di Aurisina - curated and in collaboration with Italia Nostra and Ferstoria, Association for the Railway History of FVG, there will be a conference/meeting on "The historic station of Aurisina between past and future", report by Franco Gioseffi. The Aurisina station (once Nabresina) is a railway structure of great historical interest, being the oldest railway station in the region, the only one remaining in its original state, "witness" of the very first railway connection from Italy to the rest of Europe (1860), then through the Habsburg Empire. Today in a state of partial abandonment and deserving of protection and revitalization both in historical-cultural and operational terms, for a development of sustainable mobility in favor of the Karst. Detailed description (original language): Mercoledì 18 settembre ore 18.00 Casa della Pietra di Aurisina - a cura ed in collaborazione di Italia Nostra e Ferstoria,Associazione per la Storia Ferroviaria del FVG, si terrà una conferenza/incontro su "La Stazione storica di Aurisina tra passato e futuro", relazione a cura di Franco Gioseffi . La stazione di Aurisina (un tempo Nabresina) è una struttura ferroviaria di grande interesse storico,trattandosi della più antica stazione ferroviaria della regione, unica rimasta allo stato d'origine, "testimone" del primissimo collegamento per ferrovia dall'Italia al resto d'Europa (1860), allora attraverso l'Impero Asburgico. Oggi in stato di parziale abbandono e meritevole di tutela e di rivitalizzazione sia in termini storico-culturali che operativi ,per uno sviluppo della mobilità sostenibile a favore del Carso.
