Detailed description (English): During meetings with our working groups on the topic of the KlimaPakt in Luxembourg, encouraging sustainable and active mobility during the home-work trips is at the heart of the discussions.
How can I ride my bike safely? What type of bike is right for me? What exists to facilitate cycling in Belval?
During this event you will be invited to test different types of bikes and you will be able to receive many tips to get around town safely by bike. You will also be able to discover all the offers proposed by the Municipality of Sanem and the City of Esch-sur-Alzette to promote active mobility.
The Maison du Cycliste of the ACL, the Municipality of Sanem and the City of Esch-sur-Alzette, the asbl Ecotrel, the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, as well as the University of Luxembourg will be the organisations present during this meeting.

- Ecobatterien is organizing a special collect for this event and is inviting participants to bring back all types of batteries

Detailed description (original language): Lors des réunions avec nos groupes de travail sur les thèmes du Pacte Climat, favoriser la pratique d’une mobilité durable et active lors des trajets domicile-travail est au cœur des discussions.
Comment circuler en toute sécurité à vélo ? Quels types de vélos sont faits pour moi ? Qu’est-ce qui pourrait faciliter la pratique du vélo à Belval ?
Lors de cet évènement, vous serez invité à tester différents types de vélos et vous aurez de nombreux conseils afin de vous déplacer sereinement à vélo en ville. Vous pourrez également découvrir l’ensemble des offres proposées par la Commune de Sanem et la Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette pour favoriser la mobilité active.
La Maison du Cycliste de l’ACL, la Commune de Sanem, la Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette, l’asbl Ecotrel, la Minett UNESCO Biosphere ainsi que l'Université du Luxembourg seront les partenaires présents lors de cette rencontre.

Objectives: Encouraging active mobility in the region by :
providing information on local solutions to help workers to use their bikes to come at work;
enabling testing different type of bike.
