Detailed description (English): "Iedereen Wind in de Haren" is an active chapter of Cycling Without Age (CWA) in Flanders, Belgium. Our chapter organizes regular rides, giving people with reduced mobility the opportunity to enjoy cycling experiences in their local community.
Target group(s): All people with reduced mobility, young and old. Example: elderly people, people with disabilities (temporarily or permanent), blind people.
Objectives: Connect people with limited mobility to their community, bring them outside in the fresh air, let them enjoy the neighbourhood and nature, with special bikes sharing bike-pleasure. A simple idea to boost physical and mental health.
Partner: A number of other chapters in Flanders (Gent, Genk, Mechelen, Antwerpen) to strenghen CWA in Flanders. Our dream is a CWA chapter in every city or village. A lot of local organistions as partner (organisations for seniors and people with disabilities, municipalities).
