Detailed description (English): The Museum is a place dedicated to the city, offering an exciting journey through the history of ATB and Bergamo. It is aimed specifically at primary and secondary school students (first and second grade) as a tool for educating about sustainable mobility.
The Museum's exhibition creates an educational and training path through which visitors discover the history of ATB and local public transport, also through the use of the latest interactive video and multimedia technologies. The Museum's exhibition includes panels describing the main milestones in the history of public transport, display cases containing relics and work tools from the past, and two restored and re-equipped "historic" funicular carriages. The tour concludes with a visit to the model railway room managed by the Federmodellistico Orobico Group: a unique opportunity for all model railway and railway culture enthusiasts. In particular, there is a room in which the Federmodellisti Association has reproduced the two historic railways of the Seriana Valley and the Brembana Valley. The two lines, in perfect working order, offer a historical journey from Bergamo Station to the two Bergamo valleys.
Organized by the ATB Group in collaboration with GFO Bergamo – Gruppo Federmodellistico Orobico.
