Detailed description (English): On Sunday, 21 September 2025, we will celebrate five years of the Kidical Mass Action Alliance with a large bicycle demonstration across Cologne!
What began in Cologne in 2020 is now an international movement for safe and liveable streets for all generations.
Working together for safe streets in all neighbourhoods
From 0 to 99 – we cycle together along the main roads of Cologne.
Because roads are for everyone!
The police secure our routes.
- There are starting points in 21 neighbourhoods.
Cologne has never seen so many people on bicycles. Cyclists of all ages from 21 neighbourhoods.
As always, the main starting point is at Rudolfplatz at 3 p.m. on 21 September 2025.
With 20 other neighbourhood starting points, there is something for everyone nearby to join in. All groups cycle towards the city centre with their families, children and supporters.
Our common goal: the streets around the Stadtgarten in Cologne.

Around the Stadtgarten, a special finale awaits you with everything that belongs to the mobility transition and lots of good cheer: Park-Platz-Tag & Superveedel from Stadgarten e.V. as well as

Objectives: We want children and young people to be able to get around Cologne safely and independently by bicycle and on foot.
This benefits all generations.
Streets must once again become places for people – not just for cars.
