Detailed description (English): Street of Sustainable Mobility in Magdeburg: On September 16, 2025, the Liebigstraße will be transformed into an experience space as part of European Mobility Week, running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interactive stations – from driving simulators, impairment goggles and rollover tests to e-scooter courses, children’s street art, and a historical bus exhibition – invite visitors to take part. Information stands on public transport, carsharing, and accessibility will complement the program. Together with partners such as the police, road safety organizations, ÖSA, the youth fire brigade, and teilAuto, a varied program for all age groups will be offered. A play street with a bouncy castle and soap bubbles adds extra fun. Public transport across the marego network will be free of charge on this day. Under the motto “Mobility for All”, the Street of Sustainable Mobility invites everyone to explore new perspectives on safety, prevention, and public space.
Detailed description (original language): Straße der nachhaltigen Mobilität in Magdeburg: Am 16.09.2025 verwandelt sich die Liebigstraße im Rahmen der Europäischen Mobilitätswoche von 10 bis 18 Uhr in eine Erlebnisfläche rund um nachhaltige Mobilität. Interaktive Stationen – von Fahrsimulatoren, Rauschbrillen- und Überschlagtests über E-Scooter-Parcours und Kinder-Kreidekunst bis hin zu einer historischen Busausstellung – laden zum Mitmachen ein. Ergänzend informieren Stände zu ÖPNV, Carsharing und Barrierefreiheit. Polizei, Verkehrswacht, ÖSA, Jugendfeuerwehr und teilAuto gestalten gemeinsam ein abwechslungsreiches Programm für alle Altersgruppen. Eine Spielstraße mit Hüpfburg und Seifenblasen sorgt zusätzlich für Unterhaltung. Begleitend fährt der ÖPNV im gesamten marego-Verbundgebiet kostenfrei. Unter dem Motto „Mobilität für alle“ eröffnet die Straße der nachhaltigen Mobilität neue Perspektiven auf Verkehrssicherheit, Prävention und die Gestaltung des öffentlichen Raums.

Objectives: • Promote sustainability and climate protection by showcasing the benefits of alternative, climate-friendly mobility
• Highlight attractive alternatives to private car use, in particular public transport and low-emission modes of travel
• Raise awareness for road safety and prevention through practical experiences (e.g. police actions, simulators)
• Provide education and knowledge transfer on risks, prevention and responsible behavior in traffic across all age groups
