Detailed description (English): Mobility is an essential right that connects communities, opportunities, and experiences. However, many people face barriers such as high costs or a lack of transportation options, which limit their access to employment, education, and basic services, a phenomenon known as "transport poverty." In 2025, European Mobility Week invites us to imagine and build cities where public transport, walking, and cycling are accessible, affordable, inclusive, and safe options for all people, regardless of income, gender, location, or abilities. This webinar, "Mobility for All: Connecting Stories, Transforming the City," will bring together experts to reflect on how to build more just and humane cities through sustainable and equitable mobility.
This program encourages and promotes respectful dialogue between people with different opinions and points of view on the topics discussed. The opinions expressed are those of each participant and do not necessarily represent the position of IMPLANG.
