Detailed description (English): For one day during European Mobility Week, the parking lot in front of the KSK Office on Peace Marathon Square in Košice and in its area will be emptied of cars. Children will be given space here to draw pictures on the asphalt about public transport. In the indoor area, it will be possible to try riding hydrogen bicycles and go-karts, another accompanying program is prepared for the general public. The event will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023, during International Car Free Day from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event will be connected with a cycling breakfast. In addition to a healthy breakfast, a free bike service will be available for cyclists.
Detailed description (original language): Na jeden deň počas Európskeho týždňa mobility bude parkovisko pred Úradom KSK na Námestí maratónu mieru v Košiciach aj v jeho areáli vyprázdnené od áut. Priestor tu dostanú deti na kreslenie obrázkov na asfalt o verejnej doprave. Vo vnútornom areáli si bude možné vyskúšať jazdu na vodíkových bicykloch a motokárach, pripravený je ďalší sprievodný program pre širokú verejnosť. Podujatie bude prebiehať v piatok 22. septembra 2023 počas Medzinárodného dňa bez áut od 7.30 do 16.30 h.
Podujatie bude spojené s cykloraňajkami. Pre cyklistov bude okrem zdravých raňajok k dispozícii aj bezplatný cykloservis.

Objectives: By emptying the parking lot, which is usually filled with cars, we want to point out that there are other options for getting to work. We activate the public and employees to come to work without a car. Children will draw public transport in the parking lot. Reward cyclists with a healthy breakfast and free bike service for using a sustainable mode of transport.
