Detailed description (English): During the European Mobility Week, VRR is presenting their measures within the corporate mobility management.
As a starting point, there will be a staff event on the 11th of September to present the idea and aims of the European mobility week, the offers and services from the corporate mobility management (e.g. company bike leasing, bike sharing) and the activities during the following week.
During the European Mobility Week, the employees will collect kilometres for every sustainable (public transport, cycling, walking, shared mobility) way to work. The total distance that has been collected through the week will be tracked. Based on the results, VRR will donate money to an organisation that plants trees. Throughout the week, the employees are encouraged to document their sustainable mobility with pictures or small videos.
On Thursday, the 18th of September, there will be an after-work cycling trip for every interested employee.
All the actions during the European Mobility Week will be documented in a small video to promote sustainable mobility at VRR and the Rhine-Ruhr area.

Objectives: As part of European Mobility Week, VRR encourages employees to choose eco-friendly ways to commute - by bike, public transport, on foot or with shared mobility). The aim is to raise awareness for sustainable mobility and set a positive example for the commuters in the area.
