Detailed description (English): GEOVELO provides a free GPS app that recommends safest routes & fun challenges to increase bike use locally.
For European Mobility Week, we allow companies, cities, regions and other structures to create a weekly challenge to try and boost bike use during that special moment of the year.
Our app guarantees safe rides, and collects user-data ONLY to help decision-makers to better understand and develop the cycling infrastructure and potential needs.
For this particular challenge we went for a point-challenge. Each time you cycle, you get points. The regularity is the main point of the challenge, not the kilometers. This allows a wide spectrum of people to participate and not just sports-driven cyclists!
