Detailed description (English): In 8 car parking spaces we made a whole day of activities, promoting sustainable mobility and more citizen-friendly cities.
We started with the presentation of our European Mobility Week program (which happened from September 8th to October 13th). Then the parish council made an homage for the 45 year old career of one of Portugal's leading rock bands, followed by a debate and a tribute unplugged live performance by the members of local bands, broadcast live to local radio. There were other debates during the rest of the day about active mobility, the role of education, and other related subjects. There were also some games played, including 'sustainability charades' and hopscotch. And a classic bicycles exhibition and test rides. The day ended with a bike ride.
Besides European Mobility Week, this action was also framed by the EIT Urban Mobility, the Park(ing) Day action format and the Bobadela Vila Rock festival, that would start the next day, and takes place in a parking lot
