Detailed description (English): During European Mobility Week, come to the library by bike and get a free annual membership. We have also prepared a lecture, Healthy Journey to the Library, for primary school pupils, focusing on the meaning and aim of European Mobility Week. The lecture will be complemented by interactive activities to introduce children to the importance of sustainable mobility and green behaviour. In honour of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Slovak writer Anton Habovštiak, his stories will be read out on regional trains. Volunteers will read excerpts from his works during the ride, the reading will take place on 22 September 2024. We have also prepared a Green Reading Marathon, focusing on literature with ecological and natural themes. Participants will read works that promote sustainability and environmental protection, and discuss these topics.
Detailed description (original language): Počas Európskeho týždňa mobility príďte do knižnice na bicykli a získajte bezplatné ročne členstvo. Pripravili sme aj prednášku Zdravá cesta do knižnice, pre žiakov základných škôl zameraná na význam a cieľ Európskeho týždňa mobility. Prednáška bude doplnená interaktívnymi aktivitami, ktoré deťom priblížia dôležitosť udržateľnej mobility a ekologického správania. Na počesť 100. výročia narodenia slovenského spisovateľa Antona Habovštiaka bude vo vlakoch regionálnych liniek prebiehať čítanie jeho povestí. Počas jazdy budú dobrovoľníci čítať úryvky z jeho tvorby, čítanie sa uskutoční 22.9. 2024. Pripravili sme si aj Zelený čitateľský maratón, zameraný na literatúru s ekologickou a prírodnou tematikou. Účastníci budú čítať diela, ktoré podporujú udržateľnosť a ochranu životného prostredia, a diskutovať o týchto témach.
