Detailed description (English): As part of the European Mobility Week, the municipality of Kirchseeon invites you to a special Senior Afternoon on Car-Free Day. Under the motto “Without Horsepower – Full of Energy!”, visitors can look forward to a varied program all about mobility in older age.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Kirchseeon’s marketplace will become an activity zone. A wheelchair obstacle course, supervised by the AWO district association, offers the chance to try things out. Also organized by AWO Kirchseeon, a senior-friendly trampoline will be available, guided by a trainer for fun and gentle exercise.
A special highlight is Mr. John from Ebersberg, who will offer rickshaw rides through Kirchseeon for interested seniors. Mr. Schwaida from the Traffic Safety Association will provide rollator training and valuable tips for safe mobility. The program is further complemented by a mobility trainer answering questions about using public transportation.
The local medical supply store B&B will be present with an information stand, showcasing mobility aids such as rollators, wheelchairs, and even an electric wheelchair for testing.

Detailed description (original language): Im Rahmen der Europäischen Mobilitätswoche lädt der Markt Kirchseeon am autofreien Tag zu einem besonderen Seniorennachmittag ein. Unter dem Motto „Ohne PS – mit Schwung!“ erwartet die Besucherinnen und Besucher ein abwechslungsreiches Programm rund um das Thema Mobilität im Alter.
Von 13 bis 16 Uhr verwandelt sich der Marktplatz Kirchseeon in eine Erlebnisfläche: Ein Rollstuhlparcours, betreut vom AWO Kreisverband, lädt zum Ausprobieren ein. Ebenfalls organisiert durch die AWO Kirchseeon steht ein seniorengerechtes Trampolin bereit, das unter Anleitung einer Trainerin für Spaß und Bewegung sorgt.
Für besondere Mobilitätserlebnisse sorgt Herr John aus Ebersberg, der interessierte Seniorinnen und Senioren auf einer Rundfahrt mit seiner Rikscha durch Kirchseeon mitnimmt. Herr Schwaida von der Verkehrswacht bietet zudem ein Rollatortraining an und gibt hilfreiche Tipps für sicheres Unterwegssein. Ergänzt wird das Programm durch eine Mobilitätstrainerin, die Fragen rund um die Nutzung des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs beantwortet.
Das Sanitätshaus B&B ist mit einem Infostand vertreten und stellt verschiedene Hilfsmittel wie Rollatoren, Rollstühle und sogar einen elektrischen Rollstuhl zum Testen zur Verfügung.
