Detailed description (English): Cross-border bike tour from Italy to France to foster exchange and experience sharing among Renewable Energy Communities.
As part of the Interreg ALCOTRA RECROSSES Project, the partners are organising the first Tour dedicated to meetings and the exchange of experiences between Italian and French Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) involved in the project, with the aim of enhancing their cross-border value.
In order to limit CO₂ emissions and reduce the carbon footprint, in line with the objectives of the RECROSSES project, the journey will be carried out in several stages by bicycle, crossing the Alcotra territories of Aosta Valley and the provinces of Turin and Cuneo in Piedmont, and reaching Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes.
At each stage, through visits and events, the RECs will have the opportunity to meet, share their experiences, and sign an agreement for the exchange of best practices.
