Detailed description (English): A hand-made wooden construction in front of a supermarket in the neighborhood of a lot of other shops, bakeries, a post office, pharmacy as well as several doctors and an association for disabled people and childcare is enlarging the space for pedestrians - safe from cars.
The construction is placed in a short distance to the pavement, widening it for about 1 Meter. Instead of formerly habitually parked cars in this no-parking-area now some deliberately needed space is given to pedestrians. For the first time in decades people now can stop and just have a chat without blocking everybody else on the narrow pavement.
Between two colorful boxes with soil and different plants is a narrow platform with a wooden bench as well as a steering wheel - inviting children to sit there and delightfully play fancy role plays. Several parking stands around the construction now offer places to park bicycles and even to securely lock them on a bar or a tall bike-stand. Also there are boards all around both boxes that allow drawing, writing or putting down shopping-bags, e.g. to search for something. Sometimes items are placed there - things to give away. A tip-up bench at the shop-side of the wooden construction is suitable for disabled or elderly people to sit down and have a rest. And an added standing-table at comfortable height is very suitable for having a drink or smoking just in front of the supermarket-bakery.
Target group(s): Everybody coming along, especially old, young, disabled or weak people needing a rest or a nice & safe place to wait.
