Detailed description (English): Astara Mobility S.A. is the Open and Sustainable Mobility Company, with a clear purpose of improving people’s lives and defending their right to move the way they want. To walk the talk, we launched the Astara Mobility Challenge from June 3rd to 28th, involving our entire operation across 19 countries. This initiative aimed to enhance our collective identity as One Company, One Brand, One Team and to cultivate our culture of sustainable mobility.
How We Did It:
1. Phase 1: Awareness
We began with a survey engaging 72.8% of our global team, providing insights into commuting habits and laying the groundwork for our phase 2!
2. Phase 2: Engagement
From June 3rd to 28th, we ran a gamified challenge across 19 countries to promote sustainable commuting. Over 1,000 employees participated in more than 6,000 activities encouraging greener travel. The campaign featured a unique logo and dynamic videos with our team.
Results:
Survey results were rated on a scale from 0 to 5, where 0 is the lowest and 5 is the highest:
• Behavioral Shift: Employees showed a 2.9-point improvement in commuting habits.
• Increased Sustainability Awareness: There was a 3.81-point rise in understanding sustainable practices.
• Enhanced Team Cohesion: Team spirit improved by 4.03 points.
• Continued Engagement: 53% expressed interest in continuing carpooling.
As a result, we saved 10,094 kg of CO2e and planted 1,089 trees in Argentina, one of our operations, to reward the planet! Together, we strengthened our team unity and fostered a culture of open mobility company.
