Detailed description (English): In 9 municipalities of our region, cycling breakfasts took place on the same day and at the same time – Galanta, Senica, Sereď, Skalica, Piešťany, Sládkovičovo, Hlohovec, Moravský Svätý Ján, and Trnava organized breakfasts and shared a coffee together through social media. It was the biggest joint breakfast in Slovakia.
Detailed description (original language): V 9 samosprávach nášho kraja sa v ten istý deń a hodinu konajú cykloraňajky - Galanta, Senica, Sereď, Skalica, Piešťany, Sládkovičovo, Hlohovec, Moravský sv. Ján a Trnava usporiadali raňajky a cez sociálne médiá si dali spolu kávu. Boli to najväčšie spoločné raňajky na Slovensku
Target group(s): All residents of the Trnava region
Objectives: Promoting cycling – to show that cycling is a normal and pleasant way of transport.
Building community – to connect residents who cycle and create space for meeting.
Motivation – to encourage others to try commuting to work or school by bike.
Visibility – to demonstrate that there are many cyclists in the region and they have a common voice.
Sustainability – to promote a healthy and environmentally friendly mode of transport.
Partner: The cities of Galanta, Senica, Sereď, Skalica, Piešťany, Sládkovičovo, Hlohovec, Moravský Svätý Ján, and Trnava, together with the organizations Europe Direct Senica and Youth for Equality.
