Detailed description (English): The SAI-Lab, a real-world laboratory for sustainability and a micro-think tank for sustainable development in Berlin, is committed to sustainable, climate-friendly, and safe mobility. As a volunteer-run laboratory for citizen science, we combine everyday usefulness and innovation with research, administration, and civic action.
As part of European Mobility Week, we invite you to the online event "I'm starting an initiative for commons cargo bikes" together with VFL e.V. and Forum Freie Lastenräder (FFL). As an encouragement, motivation, and forum for open and constructive exchange, interested parties can learn about commons cargo bikes and ask their questions to experienced participants in the commons cargo bike movement. The open-topic course is designed to initiate and support the establishment of an commons cargo bike initiative and provide appropriate assistance, advice, and recommendations. In addition to the handbook on commons cargo bikes, information from successful practical examples can encourage participants to take their first or next steps toward implementing a new local or regional commons cargo bike initiative.
Detailed description (original language): Das SAI-Lab, ein Reallabor für Nachhaltigkeit und ein Mikro-Thinktank für nachhaltige Entwicklung in Berlin, engagiert sich für nachhaltige, klimafreundliche und sichere Mobilität. Als ehrenamtlich geführtes Labor für Bürgerwissenschaft verbinden wir Alltagsnutzen und Innovation mit Forschung, Verwaltung und bürgerschaftlichem Engagement.
Im Rahmen der Europäischen Mobilitätswoche laden wir ein zur Online Veranstaltung „Ich starte eine Initiative für Freie Lastenräder“ zusammen mit dem VFL e.V. und dem Forum Freie Lastenräder (FFL) ein. Als Anregung, Motivation und Forum für den offenen und konstruktiven Austausch, können Interessierte über Freie Lastenräder informieren und ihre fragen an erfahrene Akteure aus der Bewegung der Freien Lastenräder stellen. Der thematisch offen Kurse soll die Gründung einer Initiative Freien Lastenräder anbahnen, unterstützten und dazu die passende Hilfestellung, Rat oder Empfehlung geben. Neben dem Handbuch zur Freien Lastenrädern können Infos aus den erfolgreichen Beispiele der Praxis ermutigen, die ersten oder nächsten eigenen Schritte bei der Realisierung einer neuen örtlichen oder regionalen Initiative der Freien Lastenräder „auf die Räder zu stellen“.
