Detailed description (English): On 21 September 2025, the town of Kirchseeon celebrates a very special premiere: the first official running event by ATSV Kirchseeon, held in combination with the local Energy and Environment Day. A full day of movement, community, and sustainability awaits participants and visitors alike.
Whether young or old, beginner or seasoned runner – there’s a distance for everyone. The day kicks off with a 400-meter kids’ run, followed by races over 800 m, 2 km, 5 km, and a scenic 10-kilometre loop through the beautiful Ebersberg countryside.
The route offers a mix of forest trails, open fields, and paved paths, passing by local landmarks such as the Kirchseeon water tower, the Himmelmama memorial chapel, and the Eglharting maypole, as well as the peaceful villages of Ilching and Riedering. Start and finish are located at the Kirchseeon town square, making it the perfect spot for runners and spectators alike.
Registration is available online or on the day of the event. Along the course, a dedicated volunteer team will provide refreshments. At the finish line, all participants will be welcomed with bananas, apples, melon, juice spritzers, and water – plus the vibrant stands and exhibits of the parallel Energy and Environment Day.

September 2025 feiert Kirchseeon ein sportliches Highlight: die erste Laufveranstaltung des ATSV Kirchseeon – in Kombination mit dem Energie- und Umwelttag der Gemeinde. Ein Tag voller Bewegung, Begegnung und nachhaltiger Impulse erwartet die Besucherinnen und Besucher.
Egal ob jung oder alt, Einsteiger oder erfahrener Läufer – hier findet jede*r die passende Strecke. Gestartet wird mit dem 400-Meter-Bambinilauf, gefolgt von Distanzen über 800 m, 2 km, 5 km und einer abwechslungsreichen 10-Kilometer-Runde durch die wunderschöne Landschaft des Ebersberger Landes.
Die Strecke führt durch schattige Wälder, über offene Felder und vorbei an lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem Kirchseeoner Wasserturm, der Gedenkkapelle Himmelmama, dem Eglhartinger Maibaum sowie durch die idyllischen Ortschaften Ilching und Riedering. Start und Ziel befinden sich zentral auf dem Marktplatz Kirchseeon. Die Wege wechseln zwischen Forst, Asphalt und Schotter – für Abwechslung ist gesorgt.
Anmeldungen sind online oder direkt vor Ort möglich. Entlang der Strecke sorgt ein engagiertes Helferteam für die passende Verpflegung. Im Ziel erwarten alle Teilnehmenden Bananen, Äpfel, Melonen, Fruchtschorle und Wasser – und natürlich die spannenden Stände und Aktionen des Energie- und Umwelttags.
