Detailed description (English): The Munich Cargo Bike Race is on tour. The fourth edition of Cake 'n 'Cargo will take place this year at the Aumühlenfest at the old Aumühle mill in the heart of Fürstenfeldbruck on September 21st as part of Car-Free Sunday.
The course is located right next to the Amper River, with a beach bar for chilling and perfect spots for spectating. And the route is a challenge. In three race classes, cargo bike riders must bring their bikes and cargo to the finish line with great sensitivity, extreme coordination, and maximum speed over gravel, asphalt curves, and grassy patches. The race starts in three race classes.
Anyone can participate – with their own or a borrowed cargo bike. The three Brucker cargo bikes are also available for this purpose. There are cool prizes for the most skilled and fastest!
Race registration can be made online in advance at: https://cakeandcargo.de/ or on-site on race day between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. The races start at 12:00 p.m. and are expected to run until 7:00 p.m.
Admission is free. Entry fee: €8.
In addition to watching and riding, you can test out cargo bikes from various models and manufacturers, enjoy the beautiful location with snacks, drinks, and music, and stroll to the food truck and the activities at the Aumühlenfest between races.
Detailed description (original language): Das Münchner Lastenrad-Rennen geht auf Tour. Die vierte Auflage von Cake ́n ́Cargo läuft heuer beim Aumühlenfest an der alten Aumühle mitten in Fürstenfeldbruck am 21. September im Rahmen des autofreien Sonntags.
Gleich neben der Amper liegt der Parcours, mit Strandbar zum Chillen und perfekten Plätzen zum Zuschauen. Und die Strecke hat’s in sich. In drei Rennklassen müssen Lastenrad-Pilot:innen Bike und Ladung mit viel Gefühl, krasser Koordination und maximalem Tempo über Kies, Asphaltkurven und Grasnarben ins Ziel bringen. Gestartetwird in drei Renn-Klassen.
Mitmachen kann jede:r – mit eigenen oder geliehenem Lastenrad. Die drei Brucker-Lastenräder stehen dafür auch zur Verfügung. Für die Geschicktesten und Schnellsten gibt’s coole Preise!

Außer Zuschauen und Mitfahren könnt ihr Cargo-Bikes verschiedener Bauarten und Hersteller testen, die wunderschöne Location mit Snacks, Getränken und Musik genießen und zwischen den Rennen zum Foodtruck und den Aktionen beim Aumühlenfest schlendern.
