Detailed description (English): As the Kocaeli EU Information Center, we plan to organize a cycling tour in collaboration with the Kocaeli Governorate's Youth and Sports Directorate and the İzmit Municipality as part of European Mobility Week and World Car-Free Day.
The event will begin at the Yahya Kaptan Bicycle Training Track, continue with a city tour, and conclude at Yahya Kaptan. The total route will be 8-10 km.
Target group(s): General (Public)
Objectives: The aim of this event is to support a carbon-neutral world, demonstrate and experience the possibility of a car-free life, raise public awareness about mobility, and encourage young people to take up sports and make cycling a part of their lives.
