Detailed description (English): From August 24th to 30th, the Friends of Nature from Nienburg are offering a week of cycling tours to art studios in the Middle Weser region. The target group is local residents. They are encouraged to explore their local surroundings by bike and experience their hometown from a new perspective. Instead of taking a vacation far away, they are looking for a week of local relaxation.
To make the week a new experience, they will cycle 40-60 km each day and visit two or three largely unknown artists' studios. It's the gentlest form of vacation: a vacation right on your doorstep.
Target group(s): Local Residents. We have 15 participants who have registered for the entire week. Another seven are cycling for 3-5 days. There are also participants for individual days and a waiting list because we had to limit the number of people.
Objectives: The aim is to offer an alternative to long-distance travel by highlighting the diversity of local recreation opportunities in one's own region.
Partner: Our partners are the individual artists who open their studios for us. We visit a total of 15 venues.
