Detailed description (English): We are celebrating European Mobility Week and Parking Day (15 September) in Siggiewi during the Festa Gheneb. We will occupy several car parking spaces of the Pjazza San Nikola with the intention to show that these spaces can be used for more reasons than parking a car.
One parking space will be transformed into a seating area, while two additional spaces will be converted into a children's playground.
We will also showcase a cargo bike and promote the scool2walk project, This EIT Urban Mobility funded project aims to promote walkability among children by creating a web application that connects parents and students to share their commute to Siggiewi Primary school.
