Detailed description (English): Changing mobility habits is extremely difficult to achieve through traditional participation methods yet necessary to transition to a green future. Liight sees a need for mobility habits to be seen as an opportunity and a solution to this important problem rather than something negative to be fined or punished. Liight incentivises users to adopt sustainable habits through gamification. Users are rewarded with ‘Liights' when they document their sustainable mobility activities in the app. They appear in our rankings and can opt to participate in personalised challenges and levelled leagues.
At this current stage, we have primarily rewarded sustainable mobility habits including walking, cycling and taking public transport as well as recycling habits. Furthermore, we can segment activities based on location, time or type of users.
Liights are an in-app virtual currency that relates to the CO2 being saved. Users can exchange their Liights for discounts, rewards and prizes that interest them for instance leisure experiences and sustainable fashion and food. This promotion channel makes sustainable consumption more accessible for users and supports other sustainable businesses in their environmental efforts. Again, rewards can be segmented depending on location, time or type of user.
Liight has a clear SAAS business model. We offer an app for a range of different players that are interested in the fight against climate change, incentivising to adopt sustainable habits and using sustainable mobility habits.
Target group(s): the planet, serving as a catalyst to fight against climate change through incentivizing sustainable mobility habits whilst recuperating the local economy.
For users, a fun and easy-to-use mobile app that encourages them to adopt more sustainable mobility habits by providing them with an engaging and rewarding experience, for instance, receiving discounts on sustainable products. Furthermore, promoting more active habits improves the well-being and health of our users too.
For corporate, they can contract the use of Liight in their companies to boost their corporate culture in the fight against climate change, incentivising sustainable mobility habits linked to issues such as gamification, team building, sustainability, non-financial reporting act, etc.
For local institutions, we would be able to provide hyper-segmented data about mobility habits and consumption preferences. This data would help optimise their resources, by developing a better understanding of the evolving habits, needs and interests of society.
For the planet, reducing the CO2 emissions of our users and clients is propelling the fight against climate change by bringing environmental health and tackling the associated, ultimately, propelling the fight against climate change.

Partner: We are currently working with some partners (such as Hoop or Acciona) to integrate carsharing and motosharing in our app in the future.
