Detailed description (English): EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal, co-funded by the European Union, is a forward-looking idea dedicated to a sustainable Europe, presenting the relevant goals of the European Union in a cinematic context. The project is situated in the field of European dialog and is therefore absolutely politically neutral and democratic. It makes an important contribution to the appreciation and understanding of the EU Green Deal and offers an intercultural platform for a multicultural approach to the green agenda.
This time EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal presents an exciting road trip:
AUSTRIA2AUSTRALIA (Directors: Andreas Buciuman, Dominik Bochis | Austria 2020): From Austria to Australia by bike: 2 friends… 18.000 km… 19 countries… a route full of hardships, discoveries and challenges, which are so powerful as well as unpredictable... The two Upper Austrian hobby cyclists Andreas and Dominik have a daring plan: They want to ride their bikes from Austria to Australia to explore the world… and the crazy part is: They actually do it!
The film screening will be followed by a discussion with experts on the topic of GREEN MOBILITY.

Detailed description (original language): EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal, das durch die Europäische Union kofinanziert wird, ist eine zukunftsweisende Idee, die sich einem nachhaltigen Europa widmet und die entsprechenden Ziele der Europäischen Union in einem filmischen Kontext präsentiert. Das Projekt ist im Bereich des europäischen Dialogs angesiedelt und daher politisch absolut neutral und demokratisch. Es leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Wertschätzung und zum Verständnis des EU Green Deal und bietet eine interkulturelle Plattform für einen multikulturellen Umgang mit der grünen Agenda.
Diesmal präsentiert das EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal einen spannenden Roadtrip:
AUSTRIA2AUSTRALIA (Regie: Andreas Buciuman, Dominik Bochis | Austria 2020): Mit dem Fahrrad von Österreich nach Australien: 2 Freunde... 18.000 km... 19 Länder... eine Route voller Strapazen, Entdeckungen und Herausforderungen, die so kraftvoll wie unvorhersehbar sind... Die beiden oberösterreichischen Hobbyradler Andreas und Dominik haben einen waghalsigen Plan: Sie wollen mit ihren Rädern von Österreich nach Australien fahren, um die Welt zu erkunden... und das Verrückte daran ist: Sie tun es tatsächlich!
Im Anschluss an die Filmvorführung findet eine Diskussion mit Experten zum Thema GREEN MOBILITY statt.
