Detailed description (English): It's an environmental action for students of the 5-9 grades. Four activities are held within the framework of the action. Activity 1 enables students to learn what is EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK, what is the aim of the WEEK, and who can take part in it. Activity 2 is held to to give students the idea of what 'Green transport ' is. They get to know why people should use 'green transport' and what kinds of 'green transport' there are. Activity 3 is a game which helps to learn the advatages of the 'green transport'. Activity 4 enables students to understand what each of them can do to reduce the negative impact of transport on the environment. Students will show their green transport (bisycles,scooters, roller skates , etc.) and tell others how they use them in their daily life and how everyone and the environment can benefit from it.
Target group(s): Students of the 5-9 grades (11-15 years old)
Objectives: to develop environmentally friendly behaviour in students
Expected Outcomes: It's expected that about 60 students will participate in the Action. Students will be better aware of the benefits from using 'Green transport. ' The town authorities will pay more attention to the development of bicycle and pedestrian zones within the town to encourage people to use environmentally friendly transport. Our local newspaper will cover the event.
