Detailed description (English): Within the framework of the 7th Business Meeting of Leganés Tecnológico we present this challenge to innovate together - companies, researchers, entrepreneurs and the rest of the entities of the R&D&I ecosystem to face the challenges and opportunities offered by the transport of people in the league of sustainability. Transport is responsible for more than a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union. In addition, it is the sector with the highest energy consumption (responsible for nearly 40% of the final energy consumed) and a source of noise and visual pollution.
Therefore, research and the incorporation of its results in the form of innovative actions that increase the sustainability of mobility and transport are a strategic issue to achieve a great environmental, social and economic change. Hence, for example, Cluster 5 of the Horizon Europe program encompasses "CLIMA, ENERGY AND MOBILITY".
Speakers:
- Araceli Sanchís, researcher responsible for the Laboratory of Control, Learning and Optimization of Systems (CAOS)
- Mario Sánchez, researcher of the Fluid Mechanics group
- Researcher pending confirmation
- MAPFRE
- Jose Manuel Egea. Councilor Delegate for Mobility, Leganés City Council
- Francisco Cortés from the spinoff UC3M Sensia
