Detailed description (English): The "Bike Attitude" project is a social innovation initiative designed to contribute to the social inclusion of children and young people from disadvantaged areas through sports, while also promoting sustainable mobility. This initiative actively supports the revitalization and development of local communities in various cities across Portugal.
The methodology implemented centers around the sport of Trial Bike, facilitating the personal and social development of participants and strengthening local social cohesion. This unique and informal approach provides positive experiences, with a focus on nurturing individual potential.
Detailed description (original language): The project is driven by the aim to enhance social inclusion for children and young individuals residing in vulnerable territories and to promote the use of bicycles as a sustainable mode of transportation. Acknowledging that contextual, social, and individual factors influence the social vulnerability of these groups, the project strives to implement an innovative intervention that can recognize the potential of participants and stimulate the development of vital skills for their personal growth. In this regard, the project intends to establish an informal yet effective intervention approach capable of cultivating positive experiences that focus on strengths rather than weaknesses.
Target group(s): Children and young people from disadvantaged areas.
Objectives: The project's primary objectives are as follows:

• Contribute to the vitality of local communities.
