Detailed description (English): Members of the Cycling Initiative Sremska Mitrovica and friends were invited to make a bicycle ride from the pedestrian-cycle bridge in the center of Sremska Mitrovica to the Zasavica Special Nature Reserve. The group consisted of adults of various ages, some with children in seats on their bikes, older children on bikes, one child on a special tricycle for dissabled. The association organizes urban and suburban rides monthly, called "Critical mass", which are usually about 10 km long and last about 1 hour. These rides are organized on busy city and suburban streets with the idea of pointing out the problems of insufficient bicycle safety in S. Mitrovica. S. Mitrovica is a city with a long tradition of cycling, small distances and flat terrain, but with a lack of development of cycling infrastructure, which has made cycling extremely unsafe. The ride to Zasavica was a slightly longer of about 16 km, mostly along the bicycle path built from the suburban settlement of Mačvanska Mitrovica to the village of Zasavica. The special reserve is a place known for its excellent organization and preservation of biodiversity, the study of endemic and rare species, but also a place to stay in nature and relax. During the one-hour stay in the reserve, the adults rested and learned something new, while the children enjoyed the children's playground and watching the animals. Returning to the city by bicycle took 45 minutes. The ride had the importance of encouraging friends of cycling to ride outside the city, pointing out the ease of moving along the bike path and being in nature.
