Detailed description (English): The campaign runs during Mobility Week, 16-22 September 2023
If there will be interest, we will extend it until the end of September.
For the black spot inventory campaign, citizens will be able to borrow a Gorenjska.bike bike for free and go on a campaign to record the most common obstacles in the public spaces around Gorenjska.bike stations: wrongly parked cars, rubbish bins, unmaintained green public spaces (specifically trees and hedges), untidy advertising in public spaces, vans appearing in pedestrian and cycling areas.
Each participant in the black spot inventory will be required to register with the CTM.
When registering for the black spot inventory, participants will be provided with a map updating where anyone has been driving and instructions on how to share the location and description of the litter/resource they have found with the CTM.
We will use Google's My Maps and Maps tools.
All participants who record the obstacle and pick up the litter will receive a promotional gift.
Target group(s): Cyclists, stakeholders in traffic planing, young leaders
Objectives: Sustainable mobility centre and local Scout organisation under the patronage of municipality wanted to involve all who are willing to get engaged into planing of cyclist routes, more specifically to remove bad and dangerous sections of bike routes. By doing this we achieve several goals. Municipality understands which sections of roads and bike deserves urgent attention, we get categorisation of obsticales perceived by everyday users, we understand frequency of different bike routes. By providing bike sharing services for free we not only offer everybody possibility to participate but also have possibility to show usefulness of bike sharing system to non users. And last but not least with participants of Scout organisation we allow young eager individuals to get involved with city traffic planing and let their voices to be heard.
Partner: Association of scouts Kranj
