Its purpose is to make the cyclist visible as a road actor in mobility to publicize the great advantages that provide mobility, society and the individual, a greater presence of bicycles in cities to reduce the inconvenience It causes motorized traffic: noise, pollution, traffic jams, insecurity. In addition to cyclists, skaters and runners also usually participate. The name comes from the homonymous sociological concept, which refers to the number of individuals involved in a phenomenon from which it acquires its own dynamic that allows it to sustain itself and grow on its own.
Detailed description (original language): El término hace alusión al fenómeno ci-clista que tiene lugar todos los meses en numerosas ciudades del mundo. Su finali-dad es visibilizar al ciclista como un actor vial en la movilidad dar a conocer las grandes ventajas que aportan a la movi-lidad, a la sociedad y al individuo, una mayor presencia de las bicicletas en las ciudades para reducir las molestias que causa el tráfico motorizado: ruido, con-taminación, atascos, inseguridad. Ade-más de ciclistas también suelen partici-par patinadores y runners. La denomina-ción proviene del concepto sociológico homónimo, que hace referencia al nú-mero de individuos involucrados en un fenómeno a partir del cual éste adquiere una dinámica propia que le permite sos-tenerse y crecer por sí mismo.
