Detailed description (English): We set out to multiply the cargo we ship monthly with our client Grupo Qualianza-Pascual tenfold over a period of one year. In other words, if we started to develop Grupo Qualianza-Pascual's operations in July 2022, transporting 61 kg per month, we wanted to reach 610 kg of cargo. Now, this goal was achieved earlier than we expected, because currently (March 2023) we are going to make more than 4,000 deliveries per month, exceeding 200 deliveries per day and handling more than 9 tonnes per month, only with our client Qualianza-Pascual Group.
Implementing this MOBILITYACTION in our project with Grupo Qualianza-Pascual has allowed us to demonstrate the benefits of a system such as the one implemented by CARGOBICI, in which we replace the delivery of fresh and frozen products to Horeca establishments with a delivery by cargo bikes based on a system of microhubs fulfillment managed by our own technological platform specialised in the last mile.
Ours is a business model that benefits our customers and our social, economic and ecological environment. Exceeding our target at MOBILITYACTION by a factor of twenty has meant positioning ourselves as transformers of a business model, as we now make 16% of total deliveries in Barcelona.
Detailed description (original language): Nos propusimos multiplicar por diez la carga que enviamos mensualmente con nuestro cliente Grupo Qualianza-Pascual en el periodo de un año. Es decir, si comenzamos a desarrollar la operativa de Grupo Qualianza-Pascual en julio de 2022, transportando 61 kg mensuales; quisimos alcanzar los 610 kg de carga. Ahora bien, este propósito se alcanzó antes de lo que esperábamos, porque actualmente (marzo 2023) vamos a efectuar mas de 4.000 envíos en el mes, superando los 200 repartos diarios y manejando más de 9 toneladas mensuales, solo con nuestro cliente de Grupo Qualianza-Pascual.
Poner en marcha esta MOBILITYACTION en nuestro proyecto con Grupo Qualianza-Pascual nos ha permitido demostrar las bonazas de un sistema como el que tiene implementado CARGOBICI, en el que sustituimos el reparto con furgonetas de producto fresco y congelado a establecimientos Horeca, por un reparto con bicicletas de carga basadas en un sistema de microhubs fulfillment gestionado por nuestra propia plataforma tecnológica especializada en la última milla.
El nuestro, es un modelo de negocio que repercute beneficiosamente en nuestros clientes y en nuestro entorno social, económico y ecológico. Haber superado nuestro objetivo en la MOBILITYACTION hasta haberlo multiplicado por veinte, ha significado posicionarnos como transformadores de un modelo de negocio ya que, a día de hoy, efectuamos el 16% de las entregas totales en Barcelona.
Target group(s): Private companies in the Horeca sector, laboratories, distributors and local shops. As well as the public, as our activity contributes to improving social health.
Objectives: With this activity we want to show the capacity and advantages of cargo bicycles in our cities both for businesses, since considerable expenses are saved in their shipments, as well as for citizens and the environment.
