Detailed description (English): For the third year in a row, CroNetwork of Hematology Nurses and Technicians organizes the Walk to Work campaign during Mobility Week. All members of our association of hematology nurses and technicians do physically difficult but responsible work. Their contribution this week is even greater. The members of our association are aware of the great impact of environmental pollution on health. Primarily in order to preserve the environment and reduce harmful effects on health, we strongly support the European Mobility Week. Our activities are mainly related to encouraging our members to walk to work during the mobility week. Often our members live quite far from work, it often takes them about 45 minutes by car to get to work, while it takes significantly more on foot. Despite this, a large number of members respond to our call to walk to work during the mobility week. During the mobility week, CroNetwork members are motivated to use bicycles, public transport or walk for all trips to shopping, the city.
The way we control participation in these activities is by recording the number of steps taken by each participant in this activity. At the end of the day, members who walked to work take pictures of their pedometers on their mobile phones and send them to our official email after the end of the mobility week. By their example, healthcare workers show how to change habits and move more, thus reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
Our association has 300 members, the turnout for the mobility week action is really great, and we hope that it will be the same this year.
Detailed description (original language): Prethodne dvije godine KroMreža Hematoloških Medicinskih Sestara i Tehničara organizira aktivnost pod nazivom Pješice do posla. Ovu kampanju potičemo posebno tijekom Europskog tjedna mobilnosti. Članovi naše udruge hematološke sestre i tehničari rade težak i odgovoran posao njihovo podržavanje aktivnosti tijekom tjedna mobilnosti tim su veće. Članovi KroMreže HMST svjesni su utjecaja zagađenja okoliša,na zdravlje stanovništva. Prvenstveno radi smanjenja lošeg utjecaja zagađenja na zdravlje članovi kroMreže HMST snažno podupiru aktivnosti tijekom tjedna mobilnosti. Naše aktivnosti uglavnom se odnose na motivaciju članova da odlaze pješice na posao tijekom Europskog tjedna mobilnosti. Često članovi žive prilično daleko od mjesta zaposlenjai ponekad im treba 45 minuta do posla autom, a pješice značajno više. Unatoč tomu članovi KroMreže HMST se odlučuju tijekom Europskog tjedna mobilnosti dolaziti pješice na posao. Osim toga članove motivramo da tijekom tjedna mobilnosti u svakodnevnim kretanjima do grada ili u kupovinu, koriste javni prijevoz, bicikl ili idu pješice.
Sudjelovanje u tjednu mobilnosti kontroliramo na način da nam svako ko je aktivno sudjelovao u tjednu mobilnosti slika svoj zaslon pedometra i pošalje na službeni mail sliku 7-dnevnog brojanja koraka tijekom tjedna mobilnosti. Na ovaj način svojim primjerom medicinske sestre pokazuju da je promjena životnog stila važna za smanjenje rizika za nastanak kroničnih kardiovaskularnih bolesti..
Naših 300 članova izuzetno su zainteresirani za sudjelovanje u tjednu mobilnosti tako se nadamo da će bbiti i ove godine.
