Detailed description (English): Current conditions:
-the city area is 15km x 6km wide, including suburbs, for 50.000 inhabitants;
-our citizens are mostly aged people (50%)
-our transport service is based on three components:
2 local and very tangled bus lines, with hardly known timetable and itineraries; frequency is 1 hour;
2 outgoing bus lines connecting to Rome (50km far), more regular and frequent, offering 48 stops;
1 railroad to Rome serving 7 stops in town.
As our action, we:
-mapped the extraurban lines checking and renaming each stop according to local aknowledge
-created an inventory of main Points of public interest in town, especially those of current use for people (post offices, hospital, police, pharmacies, monuments, etc.)
-generated a quick table matching bus-train with 107 (!) Points of Interest.
We published results just few days ago, in time to be ready when EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK starts.
