Bicycle Ride for European Mobility Week
Duration: 1 hour

Activity Description:

We invite all residents to join us for a bicycle ride in celebration of European Mobility Week! This activity is a wonderful opportunity to promote health, environmental awareness, and sustainable mobility, all while having fun and connecting with the community.

Route:

Starting Point: The bike ride will begin from the center of Lapovo, in front of the main square.
First Destination: We will ride towards the church St. Petka, where we will make a brief stop to enjoy the view and appreciate this significant location.
We will continue towards the school.
Return: After visiting the church and school, we will return to the center of Lapovo, where we will conclude our ride.
Details:

Participants: All participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycles and helmets.
Safety: The ride will be led by an experienced guide.

Car-free day Car-free day

Lapovo carries out a Car-free day and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

In celebration of Car-Free Day, we invite all residents to join us in this significant event! To promote sustainable mobility and cleaner air, Njegoševa Street, from the roundabout to the railway station, will be closed to motor vehicles and open for pedestrians, cyclists, and community activities.

What to Expect:

Closed Street: Njegoševa Street will be closed to motor traffic, providing space for walking, cycling, and enjoying an open and vibrant community area.
Community Activities: We have planned a variety of activities for all ages
Information Stations: Informational stations will be set up along the street, offering insights into the benefits of alternative transportation modes and environmental protection.
